We’re excited to finally introduce our next VR project: Abyssal Raiders.

Abyssal Raiders is a competitive multiplayer VR game built for Meta Quest, where players pilot submarines into the depths, search for valuable cargo, fight rival crews, and try to make it back with their loot before someone else takes it from them.

The core idea is simple:

Find it. Fight for it. Bank it. Own the deep.

But once several submarines are chasing the same valuable target, things can get chaotic very quickly.

What is Abyssal Raiders?

In each match, players explore a dangerous underwater environment in search of valuable objectives and resources.

Finding them is only the beginning.

Other players are looking for the same thing, which means you’ll need to decide whether to avoid confrontation, chase another submarine, defend your cargo, or risk everything for a bigger reward.

We want the game to create those moments where a simple expedition suddenly turns into a desperate underwater battle.

Abyssal Raiders is being developed specifically with standalone Meta Quest hardware in mind, with a strong focus on smooth VR gameplay, immersive environments, and fast multiplayer matches.

The Playtest Has Started

Abyssal Raiders has now entered its first public playtesting phase.

Instead of developing the entire game behind closed doors, we want players to be involved early.

The current version is still very much a work in progress. Balance, controls, progression, maps, game modes, matchmaking, performance and many smaller details will continue to evolve based on what we learn during the playtest.

That is exactly why we are opening it up now.

We want to see how real players approach the game, which mechanics they enjoy, what feels confusing, and—most importantly—whether the matches create the kind of memorable multiplayer moments we are aiming for.

Play for Free and Help Shape the Game

The Abyssal Raiders playtest is currently free to join on Meta Quest.

We’ve also opened an official Discord community where players can:

  • find other people to play with,
  • organize playtest sessions,
  • report bugs,
  • suggest features,
  • share feedback,
  • follow development updates,
  • and talk directly with us while the game is being built.

We’re also preparing dedicated Play With Devs sessions, where members of the development team will jump into matches with the community.

And we may have a few surprises planned for players who actively take part in the testing.

This Is Only the Beginning

Abyssal Raiders is still early in development, but that also makes this one of the most interesting stages to join.

A lot can still change.

The feedback we receive during these first tests will directly influence where the game goes next, from smaller balancing decisions to larger gameplay features.

If competitive multiplayer VR, submarines, deep-sea exploration and fighting over valuable loot sound like your kind of thing, we’d love to have you aboard.

Join the Abyssal Raiders playtest, enter the Discord, and help us build what comes next.

See you in the deep.
